Olympic Peninsula & Mt. Rainier, Washington 2021 June

For several years I had been seeing photographs of the unique beauty to be found in Olympic National Park in Washington state. Finally, in 2021 my wife and I were able to visit this special location which contains one of the few true rainforests in the United States. It did not disappoint. Since we were already in the state, we included a side-trip to Mount Rainier National Park. I had been to Mt. Rainier in July of 2010 when a friend and I attempted to summit Mt. Rainier. It was my wife’s first time there and she, as well as I, were overwhelmed by the mountains immense and breathtaking beauty.
